Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. we also call it the spring festival. it is on lunar january 1st.
on new year’s eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. there are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. after dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. we have a wonderful evening on new year’s eve.
on the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. after breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. on the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.
everyone is busy on chinese new year, and everyone is happy, too.

反正街上五彩繽紛，各種各樣的人都有，各種各樣的貨物都齊全，琳琅滿目，人們恐怕想買什麼都難選擇!
春節前，家家户户都燈火通明，家家都把房子打扮得別具一格，各有各的個性。他們把買來的年貨放得滿地都地。買來的年畫怎麼貼法，那就各有自己的風格和喜好了。有的正着貼，有的倒着貼，還有的歪着貼，各有千秋。人們把買來的菜全部都弄好了，只等春節一到，就可一飽口福了。家家備有鞭炮，人們穿上新衣服，準備迎新年，在春節前，人們一出門，如果遇上了好朋友，總是口中不忘説一句：“上街啊!”
人們殺豬宰羊，忙碌地準備着春節大吃大喝一番。
春節到了，小朋友們便早早起牀，來到爸爸媽媽的房間，開始了傳統的拜年儀式了。小朋友們對父母説着一些吉祥話兒，爸媽就拿出壓歲錢，讓小孩子們高高興興。大家都希望今年能夠吉祥如意，招財進寶。
一些親朋好友歡聚一堂，品嚐着美酒佳餚，談着一些開心的話兒。而最高興的則是我們，可以大把大把地攢取壓歲錢，然後就歡天喜地跑到街上去買很多好玩的東西，如小汽車、四驅車、玩具槍、足球等，而我們只要嘴巴甜一點，多説些祝福的話兒，那可就大賺一筆了!
人們一直玩到深夜，嘴裏啃着美味水果，手裏燃放鞭炮煙花……大人小孩們載歌載舞，忘情地玩個痛快!

盼望着，盼望着，寒假來了，春節的腳步近了。
終於熬到寒假了，徹底解放了，我長長的噓了一口氣。從現在起我可以盡情的揮霍屬於我的時間，不用在意老爸、老媽的“關注”的眼神，靜靜的享受屬於我的那份快樂和自由。不用擔心自己酣甜的美夢被可惡的“小公雞”鬧鐘吵醒，不用擔心自己在淒冷的冬晨揹着沉沉的書包獨自前行，不用擔心自己在一盞孤燈的陪伴下完成“小山”似的家庭作業。
美中不足的是期末成績考的不太理想，沒有達到老爸老媽制定的目標，拿回的是一張“進步星”獎狀而不是他們心目中的“三好學生”獎狀。我春節的三個家庭夢想可能要破滅了：肯德基大餐沒指望了，壓歲錢要打折扣了，喬丹運動鞋不敢奢望了----- -
哎，看來這個寒假生活滋味似乎有點苦啊!一陣電話鈴聲響起，是媽媽打來的，她好想猜中我的心思，讓我不要多想，笑一笑，一切都會過去的，沒事到街上逛一逛。
我從儲蓄罐裏取了一點零花錢，走在大街上，似乎一切都感到很新鮮。平常稀鬆的大街，今天人突然“冒”出來很多，街道兩旁也堆滿了許多價廉物美的年貨，自然迎來了很多行人的目光。最惹人注目的是：充滿新年祝福透着縷縷墨香的對聯，玲瓏剔透大小不一的紅燈籠，結構精巧外觀漂亮的紅紅的中國結，它們共同組成了一道春節前最亮麗的風景，在冷冷的冬天裏平添了一絲絲紅色的暖色調，讓我的眼睛為之一亮。
“賣花了，有漂亮的蝴蝶蘭!”順着聲音我看到了一位賣花的姑娘，在花攤面前圍了不少人，我擠過去也想湊湊熱鬧。這是一片花的海洋，有名貴的君子蘭，有漂亮的蝴蝶蘭，有綠意盎然的富貴竹，還有許多叫不上名的盆花------這些奼紫嫣紅的花朵在綠葉的陪襯下顯得生機勃勃，連空氣中都瀰漫着花的香味。不少人笑嘻嘻的購買自己喜愛的盆花，幾乎用不着討價還價，很快就銷售一空。他們把美麗帶回家，把快樂帶回家，也把春天帶回了家。
春節像剛落地的娃娃，從頭到腳都是新的;春節像花枝招展的小姑娘，笑着向我們走來。
