端午節的傳統習俗就是吃粽子。因此，我們家有一個名副其實的包粽子好手——我媽媽。所以每年過端午節的時候，我們全家都能吃到許多粽子。我媽媽常説：用蘆葦的葉子包粽子最香。所以，她用蘆葦的葉子來包粽子。她在包粽子之前，先做好準備工作：把蘆葦的葉子放在水裏煮一煮，把準備好的糯米和棗分別洗一洗，準備工作就做好了。等蘆葦的葉子涼了以後，她就開始包粽子了。她先取三片葉子，把兩片葉子正着放，一片反着放，夾在中間，把這三片葉子捲成一個圓雉體的模樣，然後在裏面放上糯米，中間夾幾個棗，最後把葉子用線捆好，一個粽子就包好了。她包得又肥又大，活像一個老佛爺在睡覺。等她把粽子包完後，把它們放在高壓鍋裏蒸四十分鐘，再放三四個小時，使其入味後，就可以吃了！雖然我媽媽包的粽子的原料極其簡單，但是包出來的粽子卻是香噴噴的。香得使你只要一聞到味，就會挑起你的食慾；只要你的餐桌前一有粽子，你就會大口大口地吃起來。所以，我每當吃粽子時，總是吃得很多，可能是因為粽子太合我口味了吧！説到合我的口味，我也不知道我媽媽包粽子有什麼“祕決”，每次包的粽子總是香噴噴的，吊人的胃口，使人饞誕欲滴，不得不吃得很多。
過端午節除了要吃粽子，當然也少不了賽龍舟喲！
我最喜歡看得就是賽龍舟的情形，幾十個水手都手拿着槳，用盡全身的用手奮力地划着，擂鼓的水手勢氣高昂，用力地敲着有規律的鼓點兒。“加油，加油！”，場邊的拉拉隊激情洋溢，發出雷鳴般地加油聲、吶喊聲、助威聲，使水手們不得不更加使勁划船。整個賽龍舟的場面多麼壯觀、激烈，可以説是獨一無二，是端午節傳統的象徵。
吃粽子、賽龍舟，這兩樣傳統習俗，共同編織了一個熱熱鬧鬧的端午節。

端午節的回憶我生在離成都只有八十多公里的一個小村裏，我那裏屬於丘陵地帶，從小到大，在我的印象裏我們那裏的端午節一定要喝雄黃酒(在頭一年將中藥雄黃浸泡在酒瓶裏，到了第二年端午節就可以用喝)，小孩還要在額頭擦一點雄黃酒。同時在當天中午自家要煮吃鴨蛋，記得小時候每年我們都要吃2個，因為我家條件不好，平時是很少有機會吃到蛋的，那時的我挺喜歡過這節，因為不光可以吃鴨蛋，還要吃粽子，雖然從小到大我都沒有看到過我媽包粽子，但是我們姐弟倆卻從來沒有少吃一次，每年都是吃外婆送來的。
