尊敬國旗是每個公民的責任（義務）。為什麼？因為國旗是國家的象徵。尊敬它意思就是尊敬國家。換句話説，如果一個人愛國，他必須愛國旗。
在學校裏，通常每天定時要升旗。那時，校長，老師，教職員學生教師將恭敬地站在它前面並且唱國歌。參加此項儀式確實非常有意義。
