為了適應大環境，本學期的英語教材更換了，大家都知道換成了牛津國小英語，我們五年級用的是5a，這套教材應該是三年級開始從3a逐步學起的，由於種種原因，當時我們學的是新標準英語，那也就是説我們過去3a到4b的四冊內容都沒學過，而一下子要孩子接觸5a，而且拒有關專家講，從4b到5a的跨度非常大，是所有牛津國小英語中冊與冊之間跨度最大的，書中絕大多數都是長句子，語法知識也很多，而且以前的教材對於寫的要求也不高，考查的力度也不大，鑑於以上這些情況，因此本次期會考試的成績整體都不理想，值得高興的是我們班的浦睿同學考了全年級英語最高分97分。孩子們第一次接觸這樣的教材，這樣的題型，這次試卷又有些偏，因為我們以前的教材只有我們學校用，所以試卷都是老師自己出，而且也沒有範圍，因此，看起來普遍成績都很好。其實這次考試不太理想也許是件好事，一方面可以對孩子有點觸動，另一方面也可以使我們瞭解到新教材與就教材之間的差異，而更好地為以後的教學服務。這次的考試包括以後的月考，期中期末考都不再是老師自己出捲了，而且題型不是一成不變的，英語這門學科和語數不一樣的地方在於它的靈活多變性，它的題型可以千變萬化，但它的變化總是建立在一個不變的基礎上的，那就是這些基礎知識：單詞，短語，句型。一旦基礎的東西掌握了，不管它怎麼變，萬變不離其宗。

曾經有家長打電話問我他孩子的英語基礎很差怎麼辦，我的回答很簡單，“只要他跟着我的步子走，按照我的要求做，問題不大!”我的回答很簡單，可真的做起來不那麼容易哦!有些家長就深深地體會到英語這個學科只要孩子用心，學習效果是很明顯的，只要他背了記了，效果就出來了，可能由於有些家長還沒有意識到英語在考試中的地位而對這一學科有所忽略，現在，我想告訴各位，小升中的考試，好一些的中學，比如：××中學，××中學等都要求考英語，而且揚中是要把英語分數納入總分計算的，所以，目前的形勢決定了英語學科的重要性，請各位家長務必重視英語這一學科，你們思想上重視了，無形中也給孩子以薰陶，重視與不重視肯定是完全不同的，在學校肯定是抓得很緊，中午休息時間，晚自習前後甚至早晨全都用來給孩子補課。關鍵是孩子週末放假在家的兩天有沒有充分利用起來，我們每週的回家作業上都會有一項複習的內容，請家長無比抽出一點點時間來監督他這一任務的完成情況，你們可以看家校聯繫冊，然後來報單詞，短語的中文讓孩子寫英文，對照書來檢查掌握情況，這樣週一的複習聽寫才能有好的效果，單元測驗才能取得好成績。否則，他們兩天時間就白白浪費掉了，你們還可以讓他跟着磁帶讀課文，課文熟練了，很多題目就自然而然會做了，多讀還可以培養他的語感，還請家長多多配合。説了這麼多，我只有目的，也是各位家長所想的：我們配合好，把他們的成績逐步提高上去。謝謝各位的合作。

2. 依然做好督促檢查孩子作業的工作，留意他作業中體現出來的學習動態，特別是他的學習習慣，發現問題及時解決。在這裏就希望各位家長配合老師做一些工作：檢查一下你的孩子的草稿本、筆記本以及學習工具(鉛筆、直尺、三角板、量角器和橡皮擦)是否齊全，如沒有的話，督促他準備好。教育他要認真使用草稿本，能口算的口算，不能口算的豎式一律列在草稿本上，字跡要端正，線用尺畫，並標上題號，這樣在驗算檢查時只要在原來的豎式上再算一遍，得數也不會抄錯。

英語的重要性在我們當前的生活中越來越突出，越來越受到整個社會的重視。在小升中畢業統考中，英語也是必考的科目。但對於我們現在的孩子，學習英語還存在一些難題，首先英語不是我們的母語，沒有現成的語言環境，不能在日常生活中反覆運用，所以這就需要我們在學習英語的時候多付出一些，給自己創造機會多練習，多説。其次，就是要語數英三門功課均衡發展，要合理安排時間，同時兼顧三門課的學習，不要因為一門課的缺憾，影響升學和進重點班。

今天就藉此機會希望家長能瞭解我們的工作安排，有效幫助和指導孩子在家開展學習，是孩子能在今年的學習中取得最佳的成績，為今後的英語學習打下良好的基礎。我從以下幾方面來説。

一、 英語教學工作。

在教學中，我們追求的是讓孩子們快樂地上英語課。玩是孩子的天性，我們經常採用形式多樣的教學方法來激發孩子的興趣，營造輕鬆、愉快的課堂氣氛。同時，我們還不斷創設各種情景，是課堂學習活動化、交際化、生活化。孩子們在課堂上全神貫注、興趣盎然，在不知不覺中既學到了知識，又得到了學習的快樂。

二、 如何讓孩子喜歡學英語、主動學英語

1、首先讓孩子明確英語學習的重要性，幫助他們樹立信心。英語只是一種語言，不難，也不高深，只要學習方法對路，只要肯花功夫，是一定能夠學好的，並且短期內就能收到效果。如我們班的郭曉雯、祁豔萍、陳金鳳等同學在自己和家長的努力下，學習成績突飛猛進。

2、幫助孩子建立和形成良好的英語學習習慣。課堂習慣為：能集中注意力聽講，能積極大膽發言，能及時做好必要的筆記。課外習慣為;能堅持每天聽英語、讀英語，認真完成作業，主動預習新課，對對所學知識進行及時的複習和鞏固。

3、要關注孩子的學習過程，不要只注重結果。就是説不要等成績出來了再説如何如何。而應該時刻關注孩子每一天的成長。比如説：每天你是否能聽到孩子脱口而出簡單的英語句子，你是否聽到孩子大聲的説或者讀英語。

4、要激發孩子的學習興趣。比如説耐心的聽孩子讀英語，背英語，有條件的可以和孩子英語對話，聽孩子唱英語歌並且大加讚賞。

5、課外閲讀。很多家長一開校就給孩子買英漢對照的書，對學習不利，建議不買，而是買一些英語閲讀方面的書或者是練習題、測試卷，擴大知識面和對多種題型的認識。

三、教學計劃及要求

1)英語教學計劃，本學期英語共6個單元和2個複習單元。每個單元分ABC三部分，共六課時，學校安排英語每週是三節課，一個單元通常用兩週的時間學完。我通常利用兩個早自習聽寫、背誦、複習所學知識。利用一個午自習講解配套練習和活動手冊。給孩子們定了試卷，作為每個單元結束後的自我測試，所以家長們要監督孩子將佈置的卷子認真做完，我會抽時間講解。現在已經結束了第四單元，下一週開始第五單元。家長們可以根據我們的教學進度安排孩子在課外的複習和鞏固。

2)英語作業要求：

1、堅持每天在家讀半小時英語，無論今天是否有英語課，都要堅持讀，我們班已經有很多同學堅持做到了，如曹寧、馬曉慧、張宏玉等。千萬別小看每天這短短的30分鐘，只要這一點能做到，一個月你就能看到成績的。

2、每天都有具體的家庭作業，或寫或背，希望家長能及時查閲並督促孩子完成。

3、家長能經常詢問孩子所學知識，翻閲孩子的書本及練習冊，及時瞭解孩子掌握情況，做到查漏補缺。

4)英語課本知識要求

1、背寫let,s learn 的單詞，let talk read and write 中的黑體句子。

2、背誦let,s talk read and write ,熟讀story和其他部分，請家長根據孩子的具體情況增加背誦內容，培養語感、積累知識、多多益善。
